Luss To Inverbeg

January 3rd. 2009

Well what a turn out we had on our first walk for 2009! Clearly a lot of people had made some New Year Resolutions and wanted to shed off the busy period of Christmas & New Year and attack 2009 with a vengeance, so much so that Twenty Five of the Bosco Wanderers (some of whom we haven't seen lately on our fortnightly walks) managed to drag themselves from their cosy seats beside the fire to brave a chilly but beautiful sunny day to take a stroll along the shores of the Bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. This was a nice and easy walk to gently ease us all in to the start of our 2009 programme of walks, and it was great to see so many wanderers out and about again, not only may I add to enjoy the great outdoors & the countryside but to enjoy the inevitable reward at the finish of a walk supplied by our very own Sherpa, Sadie McGarry who is always there with the tea & coffee, and sometimes a bit of home baking !!! yummmmm.

Let's hope the numbers of ramblers keep up for the rest of the year and as always we will gladly welcome any new members.
