Luss to Inverbeg
Saturday 28th March 2009
This walk from Luss to Inverbeg is always a favourite for the early part of the year getting you into that spring like step for the more strenuous walks later on. It was our second time out for this leg to Inverbeg and as usual there was a splendid turn out of Wanderers (even again from Martin and Alice Doherty who must have enjoyed their last outing ) who were willing to brave the rather cold and chilling wind that blew down Loch Lomond to meet us face to face. The chill though from the headwind didn't spoil in any way the splendid scenery that abounds in and around the Loch area and across the whole of the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park giving everyone a chance to enjoy what simply lies on our own doorstep. After reaching Inverbeg and being treated once more by "YES YOU ALL KNOW" our very own sherpa "Sadie McGarry" to lovely homemade cake, Tea and Coffee, it made the return journey back down the Loch to Luss a lot easier.
