Father John Fitzsimmons R.I.P.

It is with deep regret to announce the death of Father John Fitzsimmons who passed away on Saturday 17th May 2008 after a long illness. Father John was Parish Priest at St John Bosco from 1990 until 2002 before retiring.

His funeral took place at St Ninian’s, Gourock. Four Bishops, 80 or so priests and 100’s of people, including at least 70 of our parishioners celebrated the requiem mass. May he rest in peace.

Fr John Fitzimmons Months Mind Mass

Fr. John’s months’ mind will now take place here, at St john Bosco’s, on Tuesday 24^th June at 7pm and not at St Ninian’s, Gourock as originally advertised for Tuesday 17^th. Everyone is invited to come and pray for the repose of the soul of our former parish priest. Please let others know about this mass.
